Parents and Wrestlers,

RRHS Athletics has participated in the Rio Rancho Police Department Post 911 Explorer Christmas Festival for over 10 years. This event provides toys for underprivileged students/children in Rio Rancho. Over the years the need for toys has increased. This year’s goal is to get 200 toys for elementary children (and their siblings) for ages newborn to 13 years old. I would like to invite RRHS athletic teams to continue to participate in this endeavor. For RRHS athletic teams, coaches ask each athlete (who is economically able) to donate 1 new toy (unwrapped). The toy pickup will take place on Tuesday December 2 in the Main Gymnasium (RAC) at 1:20pm (7th period). IF each team that has a Sports Fit Class participates, we can easily meet the goal of 200 toys.
